I can not believe we are already in the throws of 2012... A year that holds so many exciting things for Oh Dear Megan. We will soon be available in stores across the country... we are even venturing to the UK (and Globally) via ASOS marketplace. Preparation for the Design Indaba 2012 has started... We really have hit the ground running! Our website is almost complete... Our clients are growing in numbers... and there is some fantastic press coming our way! So stay put and hold on tight... this year is going to be a good one (yes we may feel some bumps along the way... but hey thats part of the fun).

A big thanks to all of you for your phenomenal support thus far... Without you this job or Oh Dear Megan would not be as much fun x

WeWOOD has landed in SA... Oh Dear Megan is in love!

The one thing that really gets us going at Oh Dear Megan (well besides jewellery of course) is watches! WeWOOD time pieces launched in SA a couple of months ago and has since been popping up all over the place. So we did some research and found out some interesting tid bits about WeWOOD...

Firstly and most importantly (everyone forgets to mention this), for every watch purchased in South Africa WeWOOD will plant an indigenous tree... They will even take pictures and let you know where the tree has been planted... just to make sure you know you are making a difference. Alternatively you can recommend a place to plant the tree... How amazing is that!

If you have sensitive skin the WeWOOD time pieces are perfect for you... The clasps are nickle, lead and cadmium free... and the only protective coating used is made from an edible wax (used on most wooden chopsticks).... the colours of the watch come from the use of different colour woods.

Im not really the type of girl who wears bright colours. I usually stick to jeans and muted colours. However this year (as one of my new years resolution) I have decided to start dressing "bravely" and generally making more effort... and nothing works better that putting on bright accessories... take a drab dress... add a bright, beautiful necklace.... and voila! It works every time and it's an instant confidence booster...
